Original Watercolor artwork by a National Watercolor signature artist. There is a Queen Bed, a Queen Sofa Bed (with memory foam mattress). We have YouTubeTv via AppleTV and very fast Wireless internet. The cottage has air conditioning and heating but is rarely needed. The kitchenette is NOT a full kitchen but a microwave, kettle & toaster oven. Guests have the use of the BBQ grill outside if needed.
We are 1 blocks from California Institute of Technology and the South Lake Shopping District. We are 2 block from Starbucks, Peets and a Trader Joe’s Grocery store and the ARTS bus route and minutes from Old Town Pasadena, Paseo Shopping Center, Huntington Gardens & the Norton Simon Museum.
We are Walking distance to the Rose Parade Route on Colorado Blvd.
We loved staying at Mandy’s place! It is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and full of light. It is located in a charming neighborhood, very close to Caltech and within walking distance from Old Pasadena. Mandy and her husband were wonderful hosts.

Use and Occupancy: the premises are to be used only as a private residence for Tenant and for no other purpose.
Condition of Premises: Tenant agrees to keep the premises in good order and repair and, upon termination of tenancy, to return to Owner in a condition identical to that which existed when Tenant took occupancy.
Subletting: Tenant shall not sublet any or part of the premises.
Pets: No animal or other pets (except properly trained dogs needed by blind, deaf or physically handicapped persons), Please contact us with special request.
Access for Inspection & Emergency: Tenants agree that Owner or Owner’s agents may enter the premises in the event of an emergency. Except in case of emergency, Owner shall give Tenants reasonable notice of intent to enter. In order to facilitate Owner’s right of access, Tenant shall not, without Owner’s prior written consent or approval, alter or re-key any locks to the premises. At all times Owner or Owner’s agents shall be provided with a key or keys capable of unlocking all such locks and gaining entry.
Quiet Enjoyment: Tenants shall be entitled to quiet enjoyment of the premises; Tenant shall not use the premises in such a way as to violate any law or ordinance, commit waste or nuisance, or annoy, disturb, inconvenience, or interfere with the quiet enjoyment of any other tenant or nearby resident.
Hours of quiet are considered to be 10pm – 8am. No amplified instruments or equipment can be used within these times – or ideally ever given that due to proximity of neighbors, sound. Outside Areas : Tenant has joint access to garden front and back.
Outside drying line can be used.
Garbage is collected each Tuesday early – (black for garden refuse, blue for recycling and green for general trash)
Cleaning fees are always refunded if the guest did not check in. The CreditCard or Paypal service fee is non-refundable. If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in. A reservation is officially canceled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page. Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Guest Refund Policy, safety cancellations, or extenuating circumstances. Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.

You can walk to the Metro Gold Line and take the train to downtown LA if you don’t want to drive. There is also a Zip Car location on the CalTech campus.
Freeways are less than a mile away. We are 15 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles, Nokia, Mark Taper & Ahmanson Theaters, Staples Center, Disney Concert Hall and Dodger Stadium. Twenty minutes to LA Zoo, and less than thirty minutes to Universal Studios, Hollywood Blvd., and Six Flags Magic Mountain.
We are 45 minutes from LAX and 20 minutes from Bob Hope, Burbank Airport.
“Mandy’s place is just as it is pictured. It is in a very quiet neighborhood but located just a 5 minute walk to South Lake Street which has many shops and places to eat. I loved sitting poolside. Mandy is a gracious host (had fruit, milk, bagels and other staples available) and if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place in Pasadena I would highly recommend it to you.“
